Statement from the Workers’ Communist Party of Denmark (APK)
We condemn the United States’ attack on Iran. We condemn Israel’s attack on Iran. We say No to war against Iran. Stop the U.S.–Israeli wars of aggression in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen and Iran. Stop the Zionists’ genocide in Gaza and the West Bank. End all imperialist oppression and aggression!
Last night U.S. imperialism bombed three nuclear facilities in Iran. A nuclear catastrophe was only averted because all enriched uranium had already been removed. U.S. imperialism has once again shown that it will stop at nothing to carry out its plan for complete control of the Middle East in its rivalry with the other imperialist powers. Trump and Netanyahu must be condemned as the war criminals they are. They wage an imperialist war under the pretext of self-defence against terrorism and the old lie about Iranian nuclear weapons. Yet they are the foremost terrorists, and their actions could plunge the peoples of the world into a bloody conflagration.
The Danish government is playing a hypocritical double game in this war. It speaks of diplomatic solutions while the U.S.–Israeli attacks—now entering their second week—are being carried out by fighter jets equipped with Danish-made components from Terma. We demand that the Danish government and parliament condemn Israel’s and the United States’ wars and ban arms deliveries.
Our solidarity lies with the people, the women and the working class of Iran, Palestine and the entire Middle East who face U.S./Israeli aggression. We call on all forces to demand an end to this war.
